Here, WeGo Maps arrives in the Huawei app gallery

excellent! now the only thing is for the p40 pro to drop in price so i can afford it. I’ve always wanted a phone that didn’t have Google apps preinstalled and an app gallery that I only install what I want!

heeneycs, Apr 25, 2020Another anti-Chinese racist troll … well now that the US and European governments are showing this … moreI wish I had no one to spy on me but if I had to really choose, I would take the USA or Europe instead of Communist / Fashist / anti-human rights / anti freedom of speech / anti China democracy / totalitarian / inhuman / anti-freedom. As if it was even a debate about the best way of life, I don’t despise Chinese products and crafts because they are good and they know how to create wonderful products in all sectors but their government is there. ‘one of the worst if not the worst in the world, China is a major threat to freedom and democracy that shouldn’t even be a debate, you don’t have to be racist to stress how bad the Chinese government is and the understanding of democracy or freedom of speech is bad

Some people amaze me with the way they deal with unproven claims, but don’t want to talk about proven claims for companies that have been caught doing the things they tell their allies about.
China is not the best country, but other countries that want to pretend to be perfect have more dirt on their hands. They have created more misery for the world than the country they irritate.

This is called the “strategy” of the US government.

Anonymous, Apr 25, 2020You find it hard to tell the difference between a dictatorship and the people ruled by such dictators … moreFirst of all, you respond using “anonymous”. It is very telling. You are “afraid” to respond using your own name, which usually implies a “Troll”

Second, you said:
“You find it hard to tell the difference between a dictatorship and the people ruled by such a dictatorship …”
This comment does not make sense … So I can only assume that English is not your mother tongue because you could not understand the context of my post;

Third, you said:
“I also find your desire to be controlled and monitored by your government quite strange.”
I am a white Canadian. Therefore, my government is the Government of Canada, not China as you are trying to suggest. So, to be clear, as a Canadian living in North America, I don’t care what the Chinese government can do with Huawei phones (which are just unproven claims by a US administration fearful of losing its technological supremacy … and all the copyrights that go with it). While at the same time, we have factual evidence that the US government and its 5 “Eyes” partners are using big US tech giants to collect all of our communications data for Intelligence State.

Finally, I am very sorry for you. You obviously live in a world of Hate that has consumed you. Such a waste of human life. Pity. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way … You can also see the world by being an observer through the prism of factual history, psychology, and spirituality. Of course you have no idea what I’m trying to explain to you now … but someday you will.

Nick Tagataka, Apr 25, 2020However, all applications will still be encoded using Java / Kotlin. A different SDK, maybe, but no one … moreJava / kotlin is under usa, so they could also cut huawei using this programming language made in usa. we don’t know what the future of huawei would be because they are struggling right now and have already lost a lot of money, so covid 19 came to see what will be the plan of other countries how they will treat china to because of this madness.

ombre, Apr 24, 2020I don’t think we could see more popular apps go to huawei. the lack of gms is difficult you know … MoreHowever, all applications will still be encoded using Java / Kotlin. A different SDK, maybe, but no one will ever have to use the Chinese programming language you’re talking about.

kerul, Apr 24, 2020I can’t help but laugh after reading “Now There’s a Serious Addition”. Seriously? I don’t have … moreIt’s still a great addition to AppGallery because before that there was no alternative to Google Map to start with. It’s not about the proportion of users who use Here WeGo Maps compared to those who use Google Maps, but rather how it compares to the rest of the map and navigation apps that existed in AppGellery before it came along. . It will continue to grow rapidly and become a lot less painful to manage in the long run, I don’t see much point in being too pessimistic about its future like you are.

To be honest, however, you really ruined your somewhat constructive argument with the last paragraph showing your xenophobic mindset that I guess your comment was based on … one word too many.

DexterHR, Apr 25, 2020Sure. Download Youtube Vanced and enjoy it. There is an app called NewPipe. It’s much better than the original YouTube app.

kerul, Apr 24, 2020I can’t help but laugh after reading “Now There’s a Serious Addition”. Seriously? I don’t have … moreAnother anti-Chinese racist troll … well now that the US and European governments are showing their true colors and are going to force Apple and Google to change their operating systems to track and monitor your every move and contact, I guess that you are going to buy into more of their technology. However, for me, as a North American, I would be very happy to buy into the Huawei ecosystem without GMS. Who do you think I would rather spy on? Americans? Europeans ? The Chinese? Make a wild guess 🙂

Google maps is useless twice a day, every day. HERE is the only way, you never used it, yet you speak … other than that you can’t speak english, what a bummer, because you don’t even speak, you just try, and it is already baaad. By the way, HERE was so good that they actually exist without feeding you your own privacy leaks, but how do you figure that out when it thinks Google Maps is actually good. The only good thing for this shit is spam, for spamming it’s groogle maps the champion, I have to know, I use Android.

LOL they can do it all but not at all compete with the google giant.
Because of the Chinese population, they at least have users, but his dream is to stand up with Google, which is never possible.
Just look at what happened in the Nokia Lumia era with Windows Phone and the NOKIA No.1 brand in the world.
