New Huawei tablet found on 3C could be a new MediaPad model

Most people don’t use a tablet these days, but Huawei continues to make some pretty impressive. In particular, the recently launched MatePad Pro 5G is a top-of-the-line model that can even be used for basic productivity tasks. Sources now claim that low-end Huawei tablets could be on the way.

According to It is the house, a Huawei tablet with model number SCMR-W09 was found on the Chinese Compulsory Certificate (3C). A quick online search shows that the 2018 Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has a variant that carries the model number CMR-W09, so we can assume that this newly discovered model is likely to be a successor to MediaPad. In other words, it’s probably a mid-range tablet.

Apart from that, the 3C listing also shows that this tablet will use a 22.5W charger. In comparison, the MatePad Pro 5G uses a 40W fast charger, the same used for the Huawei P40 series. Overall, this completes the Huawei tablet lineup for this year, with the Huawei MatePad C3 rumored to cover entry level in June.

Of course, there haven’t been any announcements from Huawei, but we’re pretty sure this 3C-listed tablet should be a mid-range model. That said, would you like a new mid-range tablet from Huawei? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more information.
